I came from brave browser and i found myself pretty satisfied with it. But since the desktop version of opera provided me with the same features as brave, and some more neafty ones, i decided to switch. I'm quite happy for now, but I'm a bit disappointed by a few things and i hope that my feedback could help fix/improve the weak points.

Firstly I'm not sure why or how, but i feel like the loading of websites (not once you are inside one and browsing on it, just when you open a new one) is a bit slow compared to brave. I'm not so sure on chrome/edge/... But brave do open them faster. Not a deal breaker at all, but just a suggestion to check why it is like this.

Secondly, regarding the mobile app, I'm kinda disappointed. While in regards to the desktop programme i have zero thoughts of going back to any other browser, I have a big reserve on the mobile Android app. With brave i could open a sort of a folder with as many tabs as i wanted in it. I used it for browsing inside a website, for example when deciding what product to buy you could put all the tabs with the different options in a folder and differentiate them from the other tabs you currently have open that are maybe from other sites/searches. To me that is a must have! it's so versatile once you start to use it you can't live without!

I hope this could help improve something

Having everything at your fingertips is not as easy as one would think. Honestly l prefer a mouse and a slave. From the beginning of dial-up modems to wireless internet... "Touch-screens are the answer to entertainment in your pocket." With of course less privacy..no worries or can you hear me now was the only way cellular companies could pitch any kinda slogan for a simple inexpisive campaign. The true since of completion is when Android started making its move on a canada base company..RIM was blackberry in so many ways. State of the Art . Blackberry was at the top. If rim were singers we would have bought every ticket. Android offered us less expensive access for people who were locked in there phone companies high-speed Internet. So people with no experience on the internet other than"Google" they went for the flash, apple. So having no experience with browsers people dont know what a true console is.. and thats Opera I couldn't began to explain something that people wont understand. Opera allows a person the leg room to work quietly.

I can't get into my Outlook account because it says "an unusual login was detected" and made me reset my password just to say an unusual login was detected again, I am going to add to my phone a wallpaper with a white background and a text that reminds me every day that I never have to download this s*** again

I'm new to Opera, had been using Chrome till now. It is far superior to Chrome, with an ad blocking, a bottom navigation bar and a desktop-like tab layout that is exactly what I needed. My web browsing (navigating through multiple tabs) experience has just skyrocketed. Additionally one of the most annoying issues with Chrome was that it did not automatically open a new tab when all other tabs were closed while Opera does. 😎

Two things I would like to suggest are:

              1. Add an option to disable AMP links.
I mostly use Brave Search but then it drops to my but some Google search are more relevant for me.

              2. Ability to add custom search engine
I can't add search.brave.com or you.com search engines.. I have to stick with default options.

Having this feature implemented would literally increase my process flow by 80%

Thank You Opera Team ♥️ 🏆

I used to use opera on android a few years ago because there is simply nothing better for browsing both on desktop and mobile.

I like opera for mobile due to the native/built-in night mode and adblocker plus many other things. Chrome f**ks you over and does not even (Easily. And as far as I know) let you get rid of the ads ridden with viruses and malware. On top of that I found no way to prevent my eyes from burning with white light on websites. Just the usual google things.

Firefox lets you install (very limited choice of) add-ons and it does the job. However, it is no opera.

It was all good and dandy with opera, until I contacted opera support to requested developers to fix some aspects of a website I frequent: last.fm.

The developers were quick to tell me there was nothing to fix but I refuted and provided proof. Mostly white areas I wanted to be dark.

Then they also reluctantly told me "oh, sure, sure, we will fix it, don't worry".

Cue London Calling Now get this: Not only did they not address my request or fixed anything, they completely disabled night mode on the entirety of last.fm. I know because night mode is perfectly functional on any other website. I did not imagine this. Am I crazy? I may be. But I am not insane.

You purposely drove me away from using the web-browser that I love. Why? To spite me? To make me angry? Because you can and have power?

Congratulations, you did. I am always angry anyway. That is my secret. That is why I am here now. Is this how you treat your users? What are you, Microsoft?

Am I sounding passive-aggressive? No. This is outright aggression because I want to use opera on android.

I did not forget. It has been like 5 years. Unbelievable. I am taking my browser back.

                  Today I broke the silence.

You can also lock this thread immediately, even better, delete it forever and throw it down the internet's memory hole.
