[Request]Add Start Page Button

@trifon81 I couldn't find such a button in the sidebar options. I found a "speed dial", but all it does is open a new tab. Unless I'm missing something. The difference with the "start page" in Opera stable, is that the "start page" gets the current tab back to the start page, instead of opening a new tab. I for one would really like to have a "start page" button, similar to Opera stable.

@kyu3 that's okay for you guys that want this but those of us that don't have no way to remove it. opera just don't tell you how. i am either stuck with this or i just change to another less bloated browser. there is now way to do this in the browser settings, i have checked.

Agreed, it should be an option in the settings, so who wants it can enable it and who doesn't can hide.

Opera One version 100.x does not have the start page button on the the top bar. I used it all the time and find closing the tab and re-opening to be a pain.
Just wanted to put something up here so that anyone else thinking this can easily make their point.

This is the address of the Chromestore Web extension for making a home button. I hope Opera will restore their own button soon, but for the time beeing, this is a reasonable solution -

Its back indeed but I think its not turned on by default. You can find it in Setting under Advanced in section Start page
