Is there a way to remove this garbage? (not just hide it) If not, this might be the end of Opera for me. I don't want my search results to sound like something pretending to be an actual person; I want them to be cold and impersonal, just the information i want
I can't express how much I dislike this -

Aria isn't working for me. I'm logged in, and I am in the US, but it states with every query that it's not available in my region. When I look at the regions in which Aria is explicitly listed as not available, the US is not listed. What gives?

@shadowkid01 Same here. It says it's not available in my region, even though I'm in the US and it's clearly supposed to be available here.

@cpetersen1970 What are you talking about, Aria doesn't have access to your search results.

@cpetersen1970 And If you don't want to use Aria, just disable it in settings.

@whisperer I mean that AI don't have access to your searches.

@leocg I didn't say they do.
BTW, Aria often says it uses real-time info, and often says it uses an api for that. So Aria does a kind of search. Although Aria also often denies it is able to do that. Whether or not real-time info is also used in AI-prompts, I have no clue. As said, the AI prompts do not seem to work on my computer at the moment. -

It would be very beneficial to have the option to choose our custom prompts from a personal list. I was highly impressed with the first beta version and recommended everyone around me to switch to Opera. However, since the official update, I no longer use the AI tool. I went from using it every day for a month to not using it at all. I reverted to ChatGPT instead. Here are my comments:
- When I select a large amount of text, the prompts are not displaying. In the beta version, I could shorten big text easily with the ChatGPT prompts suggestion, which was a game-changer for me, but this feature is now gone.
- Aria is very slow, and its answers are not accurate. Often, when I ask Aria to shorten a text, the response is as long as the original text, which defeats the purpose of using a summarization tool.
- Another inconvenience is the need to still use copy/paste for input, which removes the advantage of using the tool inside the browser. If I need to copy/paste It's much easier for me to use the ChatGPT website.
I hope these issues can be addressed in future updates as they were crucial for my positive experience with the beta version.

While Bard may not be exceptional, it certainly ranks higher in terms of quality compared to chatGPT and its iterations like Aria. Additionally, Bard provides instant answers without unnecessary delays, unlike Aria .

BTW, now that I mention AI prompts, Aria works here, AI-prompts in pop-up when text is selected is enabled, but I don't get them.
It turns out it's because I had turned off AI tools in Opera not long after Aria was introduced. Later this option was removed, so now my settings showed it enabled but the AI prompt didn't work because the option ai_tools was disabled in the preferences file. Once I changed the preferences file by hand, the AI prompts appeared.

I have noticed that for some time now, Aria's answers are not automatically scrolled into view. I have to scroll down manually. It would be great if this issue could be addressed.

I really can't stand how it answers one word at a time. I realize it's trying to simulate a human reply, but it is not fooling anyone. If I wanted to ask my question to a human, I would have done that. I come to an AI to sift data and give me an answer - it shouldn't try to look like a human typing ie one word at a time.

Aria could do with customisation settings.
- First would be reply speed, waiting on Aria to find the button on the typewriter is frustrating
- The number of points in a conversation to evaluate, apparently Aria only responds based on the current and two previous questions not the whole chat. Obviously there are speed considerations here.
- Font type and size as well as background
- The option for Aria to interact with other settings within the browser
