Totally Agree!!!
I rather sacrifice performance since I don't want to use rubbish new UI (so-called Windows 11 theme)...

Hi, I use several tabs opened, and now with Opera One, the tabs width is being stretched to fit Opera windows width.
Is there a setting that can be done to use the tabs like in Opera 99?

@leocg Wow, this is very boring. I'm using opera for a year, and I was liking it very much. But I use several (really a lot) of tabs oppened. This feature is very important to me.

Going back to the old version can also only be a short-term workaround. At some point, bug fixes will be missing and there will be security holes in Chromium that have not been closed.
Therefore, one can only hope that Opera will look at the criticism of Opera One and offer settings in the next versions to restore the design as you knew it from Opera so far.Youre kind of naive arent you? You can hope all you want but this is not going to happened. Opera developers are not listening to their users. So dont count that something important in Opera (terrible GUI) one will happened.

Auto-update forced me to use Opera One. But there are deal-breakers which I need to address otherwise no more Opera for me. Specifically I need to:
- make the sidebar not shove features down to the bottom and instead separate them by a simple line
- get rid of the super-rounded corners (I thought we were over this trend back in 2015)
- reduce margins to previous size - especially on the sidebar and top bar - so that they neatly stick to the main window
- absolute dealbreaker: get rid of the workspace switching animation
To put it suscintly: I want control over the theme.
How do I do it? -

Leaving this comment to also plea that the developers allow us to use the previous appearance. I do not like the look of Opera One at all. I've been using Opera since 2016 after dropping chrome. I don't want to have to go browser hunting again...

Yes, you are right! Opera has perfect look on 99 version, I wonder why they are not making another branch for Opera One and those who wants fancy but not usable GUI, to go forward. Strange.
If they are not listening the users, I wonder why they have this design feedback forum chapter.

@passportguardian Already said several times, but let's go:
- download Opera 99 at https://get.opera.com/ftp/pub/opera/desktop/99.0.4788.77/
- Turn off your internet connection
- Run Opera 99 installer
- Disable the auto updater
- Turn on internet connection
Is this sequence going to reset all my customizations in opera as I have it now?
If yes, how can I avoid this great reset? -
