[Solved]Alternative to One?

@leocg thanks for the suggestion, I'll have to look into it because I cannot stand this damned Opera One. Why change? Whose idea was that stupid border? The feel of this is all wrong. It's just unbelievable that they'd waste time and money coming up with this nonsense. I may just dump Opera altogether.

@kilogulf59 honestly, since it's all Chromium nowadays, even Edge becomes a viable option. All you need is to install extensions for the features you miss. And honestly again, AdGuard works much better than Opera's built-in ad blocker. Also, Edge's sidebar is not useless. You can add limitless pages to it and also create app-like popups for pages so they open in a dedicated window and you can pin to taskbar stuff like WhatsApp web, Google Keep, Spotify, etc. You will forget they are web pages. This is also a Chrome feature, though. Can't believe Opera is the only one without this option
I'll still hang out with Opera for a while and see if the official release of One is good enough for me.

@darthgtb Thank you. I switched to Firefox. They've come a long way since I dumped them (for Opera).

@kilogulf59 I've just updated my Opera. Overall, the tabs thing so far looks ok. I use a few pinned tabs and I like that the pinned section now is visually separated from other tabs.
The border on the whole browser does feel out of place, though. It looks like there is a glitch and the container didn't load properly, like it used to happen in old Windows versions when we still didn't have a way to attach the width of window components to the window borders, so you had to calculate the width on the fly and glitches like this could happen (and still happens on webapps today because f**k CSS). I have the same feeling whenever I use a Mac PC. Maximized windows don't look maximized. It's weird and distracting.
Still not enough for me to ditch Opera so far. Lets see how it goes. Unfortunately I can't use Firefox or Chrome at work because I need to use them for testing my software, so I have to keep them as clean as possible, cleaning browsing data all the time, etc., so I'll either have to stick to Opera or move to Edge or Brave or something else. Opera GX is ugly and too distracting. I tried using that, but I just can't. Also, I bet it will soon enough also receive this new UI/UX style

I totally agree with you, this new opera one looks horrible. Whose idea was it?? After years of use i will have to find another browser now, congrats to the devs!

@yurithiago and another thing. I can no longer drag-n-drop an open tab into the bookmarks bar to save it. I can understand trying to fix problems or genuinely trying to improve a product, but to make changes (and negative ones at that) simply to justify your position is ridiculous.
