ChatGPT side for Opera does not insert new line when pressing shift+inter. How do I resolve this?

@sibonisogoje Does it work in a normal tab? Does it work in other browsers?

@leocg it works on the side bar, even when you use normal tab, it doesn't work. In other browsers it works fine. Just Opera.

@sibonisogoje Same problem. I've been forced to switch to Chrome when using chatGPT.

Same here. On random occasions it works, going as far as pressing Enter alone inserts a line break instead of sending, and at other times pressing Enter, Shift + Enter, etc. doesn't even on the site. I just opened ChatGPT to test it out, pressed Shift + Enter and it didn't work. Then reloaded a couple of times, switched tabs, went back in and Shift + Enter works all of a sudden...

The problem is with the AI Prompt feature in Opera GX. Disable it in settings > feature > AI Prompt and it should fix the problem.

Exactly. On irregular events it works, going to the extent that squeezing Enter alone embeds a line break as opposed to sending, and at different times squeezing Enter, Shift + Enter, and so on doesn't even on the site. I just opened ChatGPT to test it out, squeezed Shift + Enter and it didn't work. Then, at that point, reloaded two or multiple times, exchanged tabs, returned in and Move + Enter works out of nowhere...

Precisely. On unpredictable occasions it works, going to the degree that pressing Enter alone installs a line break instead of sending, and at various times crushing Enter, Shift + Enter, etc doesn't even on the site. I just opened ChatGPT to test it out, crushed Shift + Enter and it didn't work. Then, reloaded two or on different occasions, traded tabs, returned in and Move + Enter works out of the blue...

A simple workaround seems to be this:
press tab once to switch to next element which is the send button - enter to send -
