No tiles titles in Speed Dials folders

Hmm, when I combine two speed dials into a folder, if I click on that folder to show the speed dials in it, I see the title for each of those speed dials. Seems to work fine for me.
Does the issue happen in a test standalone installation too?
Have a screenshot?

Do you see the titles on light theme and 98.0.4759.39.

@hardman2 Hmm, strange. Just the bottom 2 in your pic aren't showing titles. What happens if you edit the titles for each of those? What happens if you drag them out of the speed dial folder and then drag them back in?
While both your regular Opera and the test standalone installation are closed, replace the "Bookmarks" and "BookmarksExtras" files in "profile/data" in the standalone installation with copies of the ones in your regular Opera's profile folder (goto the URL
opera://about
for the location). Then, start the standalone installation to see if that makes it have the issue like your regular Opera. -

@vegelund Oh, I see now. You have to have a wallpaper set that causes the speed dial titles outside of folders to be white. Then the title's won't show in folders because it's white text on a white background. Using a lighter wallpaper that causes Opera to use black for speed dial titles works around it.

(@burnout426 Thank you, I also tried these)
It's funny. The problem only occurs with the default background, and light theme. Not with dark theme or other background images.Thank you very much for your help.

Thanks to all for getting this issue somewhat resolved; using the Reborn5 wallpaper turns the folder titles dark so they are visible within the sub-folders. I prefer a darker wallpaper but will have to live with what Opera gives for now.
Thanks again! -

@youngpr This issue seems fixed in Opera Beta v99. When Opera Stable hits 99, this issue might go away.

Stable version 99.x has been released and published. It removes all reported problems from version 98.x (including lack of subtitles in speed dial directories and inactive right-click menu in the Google search bar). Way To Go!
