Hello. Opera browser synchronization service is blocked by RosComNadzor*.
A very long time ago, at that!If you enable VPN, synchronization starts with the cloud.

@kirill1996 In February 2023, the following appeared in an article at https://www.aroged.com/2023/02/11/opera-browser-synchronization-does-not-work-in-russia/ : "... On February 10, 2023, many users in Russia began to report that synchronization in the Opera browser had stopped working. ... Among other problems that have arisen: the weather is no longer displayed on the Express Panel and images for some sites may be missing, and site icons may not be displayed in bookmarks. Similar problems occur in the Opera GX and Opera Crypto Browser browsers. ... The problem can be solved by turning on the VPN, even if the VPN service is with Russian servers. This suggests that the problem is most likely caused by the blocking of IP addresses associated with Opera synchronization work by Roskomnadzor (RKN)."

The developers of Opera should contact RosComNadzor and clarify the situation.
The problem must be fixed. -

@kirill1996 Unfortunately, some countries block Opera's services and there's nothing Opera can do about it.

You haven't even contacted those who are blocking in Russia.

This is only the beginning. It has been reported that Russia intends isolating the country from the World Wide Web similar to China.
