Screen redraw issue

Using v97.0.4719.28
When I minimize / maximise the browser, a small area (a bit less than an eighth of the screen) in the top left is drawn first, then about half a second later the rest of the screen is drawn.
When I turn off hardware acceleration this first box area isn't noticeable, however the whole screen takes about a second to redraw when maximising.
I've tried the latest Dev build and the same is happening although it seems slightly quicker
Graphics card is a 3060 with latest drivers so not old hardware

Also, and possibly related to the above, with a few tabs open, on maximise, I see them all momentarily rendered a few pixels down from where they should be and then immediately redrawn along the top of the screen...

@darkfister It is? Anyway, it's an offtopic discussion here.

Turn hardware acceleration back on, goto the URL
opera://flags/#use-angle
, set the flag to opengl, restart Opera and test how things behave. -

Interesting - turning acceleration on again and setting opengl as you suggest, the minimize / maximize fixes the icons moving / small rectangle drawing first problem.
However, the screen still appears empty for about half a second before it is re-drawn and in this regard is very similar to when acceleration is disabled.
