@nick977d if you want to have music play on your Opera GX browser, you need to go to your opera settings and disable "Hardware Acceleration".
i believe the reason to this is, having music and things like that can make Opera GX lag.
if this doesnt work for you, i dont know what will.

@burnout426 I see the "Create" button now and it points to https://github.com/opera-gaming/gxmods that tells you all about mods and how to create them etc.

@fxssion Without any mods installed, and background music enabled at the URL
opera://settings/background_music_settings

@horlem Are you able to use addons.opera.com? Your ISP might be blocking it. The mods are hosted on the addons site so if you can't use addons.opera.com normally, you can't download mods from there either.
Alternatively, some mods are available on github: https://github.com/opera-gaming/gxmods/tree/main/mods
Dream on till your dream comes true

Hey so what's the point of having multiple music tracks for background music? I can't get the other songs to play without going into the files and editing the JSON. Is this a me problem? Has anyone been able to figure this out? Is this just a beta thing or something? Please Opera if you're reading this add a shuffle feature so I don't hear the same song on loop.

See the Background Music section at https://github.com/opera-gaming/gxmods/blob/main/documentation/mods.md and follow the "virtual remixing" link there. The tracks are supposed to each be a layer that mix together based on your activity. They're not meant to play one after the other. If you want that, just have one background music file that has multiple songs (one after the other) in it. You can use Audacity (and the encoder you want for the type of music audio file you want to produce) for that.
