@RehmanAli @cooltubyt @edwin108 @nick977d
Can you checkopera://flags/#mods
and see if Mods are enabled there? if so, you should be seeing the suggested mods atopera://mods
If you background music or sound effects aren't playing, check
opera://settings/sounds_settings
andopera://settings/background_music_settings
to make sure that they aren't muted. Also make sure that the mod you're trying to use is enabled at
opera://mods
- keep in mind that the mods' order also matters, if 2 mods are enabled, the one above will be prioritized.Dream on till your dream comes true

For some reason when you click the "create" button when you go into mods and scroll to the bottom, you are redirected to opera.com/gx. What is it supposed to do?

@yeetwwwwwwwwww I don't see the create button in 94.0.4606.96. But, it's probably just a placeholder for something in the future.

I turned everything on everywhere, and in theory everything should work, but there are still no Mods. I really don't know what to do. I have the latest version of Opera GX: 94.0.4606.101

@sw1tch-1 Try in a test standalone installation. If still no go, in that Opera, goto the URL
opera://about
, take note of the "profile" path, close that Opera, and edit the "Local State" file in the profile folder with a text edit. Change the country and country_from_server values for RU to US. Then start that Opera and see if things show up in that Opera. -

@nick977d if you want to have music play on your Opera GX browser, you need to go to your opera settings and disable "Hardware Acceleration".
i believe the reason to this is, having music and things like that can make Opera GX lag.
if this doesnt work for you, i dont know what will.

@burnout426 I see the "Create" button now and it points to https://github.com/opera-gaming/gxmods that tells you all about mods and how to create them etc.

@fxssion Without any mods installed, and background music enabled at the URL
opera://settings/background_music_settings
, can you hear Opera's default background music? -

@horlem Are you able to use addons.opera.com? Your ISP might be blocking it. The mods are hosted on the addons site so if you can't use addons.opera.com normally, you can't download mods from there either.
Alternatively, some mods are available on github: https://github.com/opera-gaming/gxmods/tree/main/mods

Hey so what's the point of having multiple music tracks for background music? I can't get the other songs to play without going into the files and editing the JSON. Is this a me problem? Has anyone been able to figure this out? Is this just a beta thing or something? Please Opera if you're reading this add a shuffle feature so I don't hear the same song on loop.
