Opera GX on Mac is not keeping data

Hi all,
I've been recently using Opera GX as a daily driver and been loving it but have become increasingly frustrated with it signing me out on exit everytime. To the point where I'm going to uninstall it and go back to Edge or Firefox.
Yes, the clear cookies on exit is unchecked
Yes, I've reinstalled the browser entirely including removal of any backend relations to the app.
Yes, I've tried Opera Sync both on and off
Yes, I've reinstalled and tried without importing from other browsers
No, I do not have cCleaner installed nor any other programs that would clear this sort of data on exit
No, I do not have this issue with any other browser.
Yes, my user account on my mac is SudoNormally at this point, I'd put the browser in the bin but from what I've used and seen, I love it. But I really need a hand looking for a fix for this.
This is on my MAC M1 running macOS Ventura 13.1
If it is relevant, I've also noticed that Opera GX also clears the favicons on links in my bookmarks bar on restart also, assuming another Cookie issue.

Experiencing the same thing.
Super annoying.
All it takes is closing Opera completely with ⌘Q and poof everything is gone.
Logging on to everything especially things that use 2FA all the time is not something i Feel like doing.
If this continues I might just migrate to another browser.
Been using Opera and Opera GX for a while now and had no quals besides that damn sidebar showing up after every singe update.

Hello Opera Forums,
As a new member of this forum, I would like to welcome everyone first.
Now to my problem:
I downloaded for my Macbook M1 Max Opera GX and wanted to try it as an alternative to my current daily browser Safari.
However, I have the feeling that it doesn't really want to work on Mac OS.
Every time I finish Opera GX, I have to log in to the Opera account in the browser myself, and all logged-in pages as an example Youtube, do not save my login data.
I have seen that several have already had this problem, but for them the checkbox "Throw away cookies on exit" was activated, for me this setting is deactivated at every start.
I'm starting to be really unquestionable why, since such an error must be noticed in the development of testing, I have set up a VM for testing purposes and have exactly the same problem there, says it is definitely a browser problem, I hope to advance the topic through this forum and provide an update.
Perhaps necessary information:
MacOS where I tested it:
M1 Max - Ventura 13.1
MacOS VM - Big Sur 11.7.3Opera GX Versions that I tested:
94.0.4606.107
I hope someone may have a temporary solution, otherwise this browser will be removed directly for me, which would be a pity without giving it a chance

Hi, I just got my computer changed to M1 Macbook Air and I had problems trying to import the passwords from a CSV file but somehow it does not work. Whenever I imported the passwords it showed that the passwords are imported. Then I realized that the browser didn't even save my passwords even though I have "Offer to save passwords" on.
I've tried reinstalling the browser and deleting the entire directory of in my computer but it still wouldn't let me import the passwords. Can anyone help?

I did a little research and ran Opera GX in debug mode, the following errors were written out when closing:

Among other things, I noticed the point "Failed to restore security token" here, which means: "This error suggests that the browser was not able to restore a security token, which can cause issues with accessing certain websites."
Which could be a possible mistake, which is why Opera has no way to store such things as registrations, But that's just a guess, at least this seems to be a general Mac problem, as older versions such as 89.0.4447.98 are also affected

I've had the same issue is it on mac or all devices? because this is so annoying if you ever find an answer please ping me here!

@zenixco we all have same issue, it's about MacOS only, both Linux and Windows Opera versions work fine, problem is about 1 month old and still there is no fix to it. Unfortunately, browser now is unusable on MacOS till further notice. When will this notice be - only Odin and developers know...

Solution also working for me. But is this the official way, or will the devs implement a update?

@itimelezz I'm guessing you'll have to do this yourself and no update will do it automatically.

Yeah already done this, as I previously wrote, it worked. But the devs should be able to fix such a issue
