So you are talking about bookmarking a page? If so, enable the bookmark bar and use Ctrl+D to add the current page.
To remove/edit a page, use the bookmarks bar.

You can also use an extension.

Try dragging and dropping pages in your Speed Dial, they can be sorted in folders.

Or like @leocg said enable the bookmarks bar in the Opera settings page.

You can add, remove and change pages in both Speed Dial and bookmarks bar.

Those are your Opera Presto bookmarks that Opera Blink found and can import.

What you're seeing is just a transitory space to check your old bookmarks. From there you can actually import them into the browser.

I think you're given the choice to import them to the Speed Dial or the bookmarks bar if you enable it in the settings.
