Embedded links in pdfs don't work when pdf is opened in Opera, but links work in other browsers.

I have pdfs, from documents written in Word, created from tool bard for Adobe within Word, and these pdfs have embedded links for easy navigation to other web-based documents. When I open the pdf in Opera, the links do not function. When I open the pdf in Edge or Firefox, or Adobe Acrobat 11, the links work just fine. Why doesn't Opera's utility for opening pdfs recognize the links and execute the paths within them?

@techwriter-nti Opera uses Chromium PDF reader, so there shouldn't be any difference when compared to other Chromium based browsers.
If you could provide an example, maybe someone could test it.
By the way, did you try disabling ads and tracking blockers?

There are many links in this document, but page ii has a bunch of them.
Yes, ads and tracking blockers are both disabled.

@techwriter-nti Confirmed that the links don't work in Opera, but work fine in Chrome. However, they work fine in Opera Beta. So, when Opera hits v95, this should be fixed.

@burnout426 I have 94.0.4606.76... so.. I guess a fix is something I have to look forward to.
Thanks for the information! -

@techwriter-nti Just checked here and links are not working in Opera Developer 96 and in Opera Stable 94.
Works on Chrome, but don't work on Vivaldi also.

@leocg Same issue in Brave too. Works fine in Edge, Edge Dev, and Chrome Canary though.

.... and yet... the links in much smaller pdfs work just fine in Opera.

I really don't know what to make of it. But thanks for checking friends.

@techwriter-nti Since the problem happens also in other Chromium based browsers, I guess it should be an issue with the Chromium PDF reader.
Anyway, report it to Opera so they can take a look. You can mention this forum topic when describing the issue.
