Costum scroll speed settings?

Hello,
I often liked to scroll with a middle mouse click (to enable scroll).
In opera 12 it was possible to scroll very smoothly.Is there any settings or (chrome) extension to set my scroll speed to a slower rate?
Because when I middle-mouse-click then it starts quite abrupt.
And NO: I am not talking about smooth scrolling or anything like that!

Thanks, it seems to work, but now I have one problem:
middle clicking on links doesn't seem to open them in background anymore!

Oh. Yeah, I guess that's an oversight from my side.
