Location of attachments opened from email?

I opened a Word document in an email sent to me. I edited it, which took a long time. I saved it and exited Word. I tried to attach the result but have no idea where it's saved. Please tell me where on my computer it is! I've searched the whole disk for the file name, but I assume it's called something different as it's a temporary file. Stupid MS Word doesn't have any record of opening this file, even though it remembers everything else I've opened recently!

@hucker Found it. C:\Users\peter\AppData\Local\Opera Mail\Opera Mail\temporary_downloads But WTF? In trying to find it I opened it again, and it actually overwrote the document I'd saved without asking me. Thanks for wasting an hour of my time. I'll send you a bill....
