Opera 18 bug: image files with name suffix .tiff are not displayed

.tiff files are displayed in the browser window in Internet Explorer and Safari. Haven't checked Firefox yet. In Opera (and Chrome) this file type is downloaded instead of displayed.
Example: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/324103/TAE Editor.tiff
If it is put on a web page in <img> tags it is shown as a broken image. It should be displayed as an image.

A TIFF file can actually contain multiple images - it would be interesting to know what other browsers do with that.
Firefox gives you the option to either download the file or to associate it with an application of your choice, so it will be opened automatically by it.
Opera (the real one, not Chrome in a new shell labeled as Opera) does the same.
