OperaGX causing connection problems with Discord and Steam

Recently Discord and Steam have been having problems connecting properly but Opera has no issues. I can run discord and the steam website through Opera fine but the apps don't work.
I have tried uninstalling Opera and reinstalling (both Steam and Discord worked while it was uninstalled but have stopped working after a while of reinstalling). I have also tried clearing cashe and cookies (this worked once and never again).
I have also limited the bandwidth to see if that works but it hasn't.

What else can I do without just using a different browser?

@mattlob If you can access the sites, what exactly is the problem? What doesn't work on them?

Im running windows 10, up to date
Opera version: LVL4 (core: 91.0.4516.95)

It is also not a problem directly with Opera, the fact that the websites work with the browser means that its not a problem with steam or discord. Its that when I have Opera it causes issues with the steam and discord apps

@mattlob What kind of issue? How Opera is related to them? What those apps support say about it?
