Hello,
I have recently been using Opera. I have set up the wallet but now to access it it asks me for a password that I do not remember what it is (it is not the secret phrase) How can I recover it or delete the wallet and do everything again.

@iceburn75 If you lost the passphrase, you lost the access to the wallet. You need to create a new one

Hi, the passphrase is there I have it. But when I open the wallet it asks me for a password that I don't remember

@iceburn75 To recreate a wallet you need the 12 words passphrase, do you have it? If so, just click on the option to recover the wallet.

@leocg Hi, yes I have it but I can't find any function to delete the wallet or to recover the password.

Hi Friend, you can easily recover your forgotten password by following these steps:

Open the menu in Opera by clicking on the 'Settings' icon in the toolbar.

1. Select 'Security' from the menu that appears.
2. Click on 'Forget password'.
3. Follow the instructions displayed on the screen.

1. Open the wallet window.
2. Click on the cog icon (top right).
3. Click 'Import wallet'.
4. Re-enter your 12 word secret seed.
5. Enter a new password to secure it on the next screen.

The above worked for me on Desktop.

I too was confronted with a password that I am suspicious I never set. I could use on mobile with fingerprint, but not on desktop without the unknown password.

This password is NOT the same password as your Opera account.
