Any add-on that suddenly let you go to another website is a red flag for me. Also, your username was another flag as well.

@kizuro then don't use it? No one is forcing you to. I use this literally all the time and the standard Ad-Block extension works perfectly fine blocking the pop-ups. Everyone's complaints on here certainly seem like user error considering the developer has been very upfront about how the extension works and the ads popping up when you use it.

Totally useless. Clicking on link only opens advertisement. This extension must be removed from addon section.

I made this account specifically for the reason to say this extension is alright at best.
I mean it does as advertised but when ever you try to download a video it barrages you with ads and I mean redirects and everything. So in the end if there's a video you what to download and you don't want to pay for youtube premium then you could use this but I don't recommend it. For the soul reason all of the ads. -

I would like to be able to record these new vertical "shorts" on YT. The app can't seem to handle them and just asks to play the video, but it is playing !
