      Hi, I'm having a weird issue with Opera.

      On some sites text is shown with the icon font instead of the standard font.

      Screenshot:

      This impacts legibility somewhat.

      Does anyone else have this, and does anyone know a solution?

        Version of Opera? Presto-based Opera (12.x and earlier) has a known issue with web fonts, though actually I'm not seeing any when I look at that page ... interesting that it only effects a few letters (t=twitter, f=facebook, r-RSS, g and sometimes d)

          The version is 12.16

          but a check for updates tells me I'm running the latest version.

          Isn't the higher version still in beta ? (Though it might be better than my current version, besides this font issue I don't have any issues)

            @boran-blok

            Try to disabe all extensions/user JS/filtering.

            Opera 12.16 is the latest and the last (forever). Development of Opera as you knew it has ceased.
            The browsers labeled as Opera with higher version numbers are a total different browser. The only resemblance with Opera 12 is the red Opera-icon.
            You can install it alongside Opera 12 and see for yourself. Don't blame me in case you won't like it.
            BTW, some of them are final releases.
