Block Site

I have been using this extension for a few years. Yesterday when I went to the Options page, I immediately noticed that all of the sites I had added to the blocked list were gone. Does that list of sites exist in a file somewhere on my computer, and is there an easy way to restore? That list contained very many sites, and I don't want to re-enter them again manually unless absolutely necessary. Thank you.

@deandog: Maybe someone known your pw and deleted all your black-listed links XD

I tried a couple of site blocker addons for opera, and none of them worked properly except this one , One is not blocking social media sites others not even blocking newspapers etc. but this one gets the job done it blocks all of 'em. If you want to stay focused and improve your productivity or If you're living in a Third World country and need to get away from the bad news, I think these addons are the best solution.

@jasonbegaming No, I just try not to get too bent out of shape when it happens. More recently, I have run across sites that I can't remove from the blocked list. Equally annoying, but nothing to lose sleep over.

Super Easy, simple, and convenient. Took 2 seconds to install and you can block a site in 3 easy clicks.

@purpledonkey I agree that installing and blocking are easy. However, the product continues to lose my entire blocked list every now and then, and it has now become impossible for me to un-block a site even if I remove every instance of that site from my blocked list. I would have to say that saving a few seconds on setup doesn't really compensate for software bugs that the vendor doesn't seem to want to fix.

@deandog Ok, well that hasn't happened to me yet. Although I have heard it's a problem. For now though, I've had no problems with that thankfully.

New problem. I added a password, and now the product won't accept it. Hoping that can be fixed by uninstalling and reinstalling. I have a feeling that even if that works, I will once again lose my entire list of blocked sites.

Simple, powerful and effective, I would like to have the option to make show random images or a way to put a list of motivational quotes

'Blocked Since' - is it possible to show the first and not the latest time by settings anyway? Need the view for checking how long the site is blocked in general (Version 0.4.6)

if i block something like 'facebook' then i cant access facebook.com, but i can still access facebook.com/random_page no problem, making it kind of useless for me.

@bigbob90 Never used this particular extension, but did you try a wildcard? If they recognize standard wildcards, try facebook.com/*
