[Solved]Disney Plus freezes/crashes while watching videos

I am using the latest version of Opera 64 bit, I have used Opera for many years.
Recently I re-signed on Disney Plus streaming service, I have used Disney on Opera many times in the past without any problems.
In trying to watch a movie or any other show I found that after a few minutes of play the screen would freeze and nothing would stream without freezing. If I waited a short while (Minutes) the stream would start again, but after a few more minutes it would freeze again.
Nothing I tried even changing settings helped to stop this problem, Netflix and Amazon Prime has no problems running correctly on Opera, and Disney Plus works perfectly on the EDGE browser?
I have 32 gig of memory and an eight core processor and fairly high end graphics card also plenty of hard drive space, running Windows 10 pro latest build!
Anyone know what is going wrong with Opera? -

Some ideas:
- Disable Opera's privacy protection (aka ad blocking).
- Try a private window.
- Try with a portable version.
Also you could try opening the Developer Toolbar (
Ctrl-Shift-I
) to see if there are any errors in the Console, or requests that fail under Network. -

I'll be honest, when I first read your suggestions I thought no way they were going to work? But the first one I tried was disabling the add blocker and tracking software, and it worked!
But why add blocking (Disney Plus doesn't run any adds) and tracking (well who knows?).
So very often the less obvious things work!
I would never have thought of this solution, and I am still a little in the dark as to why it worked? ..... X Files anyone? -

LOL, yeah, sometimes ad blocking can cause weird behaviors on some sites, especially those which check that nothing is being blocked. So just to play safe, it's usually a good idea to try the cleanest option, which is a private window (no extensions, cookies, etc.), no ad blocking, etc. I'm glad it worked for you!
