Opera did not reopen 2 windows after restart

hi.
I closed Opera with two open windows.
So i clicked the X in the right upper corner of Window 1.
But Opera Window 2 did not close itself automatically.
So i closed it manually too.
After Restart only Window 2 has been opened
WTf?!

How does Opera Browser handle and save multiple windows correctly ?

ps: I regained my 2 windows by the workaround to rename the second last files "session" and "tabs" as the latest of them when Opera is not active here:
C:\Users\user\AppData\Roaming\Opera Software\Opera Stable\Sessions

But this is not a sustainable solution.

@cratte If you have more than one window opened and you want that all of them are available when you start Opera, then you need to close Opera using menu > exit or its shortcuts.

@leocg ok, the x is only window specific not the whole browser.
Perhaps Opera should integrate a warning window with the option to exit all.

@friedhelm27 yes, this is activated.
BUT Opera fails too often regaining all tabs by restart.
So i use the mentioned workaround once a month, ca all 4. restart. o_O
