A file that stores our Opera settings for reinstall..

For personal reasons I must reinstall this Linux OS every week.. Not a serious problem as it takes only two hours to complete a customized new install of LinuxMint 19.3..
It would be nice if there was a way to make a file of all my customizations to Opera, so for new installs of the OS I could simply add that file to the new Opera, and the original customizing gets all done in seconds..

@rollingpeanut Backing up the profile directory and enabling Sync work most of the times.

I had to reinstall the OS last night yet again..
So, the whole point of this thread was: 'Can there be a file we can save of our customizations to Opera, so we can simply apply it to the next Opera install, without needing to run through all the configuring in Opera's Settings..?

@rollingpeanut If the sync doesn't work for you, I would just compress the
C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Roaming\Opera Software\Opera Stable
folder with 7-zip or so, and then decompress it. -

Thanks for your keen advice.. I'm working on it..
Too bad that the new Opera version won't run in this Mint 19... I love this Opera browser.. It's honest and honorable...

Anyway, from your deleted reply I guess you don't care anymore.
