Sidebar for Google™ Translate

Why nobody fixes it? Is it so hard to give a support... Opera is the best browser in everyway, those small bugs shouldn't be allowed as it destroys the reputation...

@zborbaski: See https://www.reddit.com/r/operabrowser/comments/mlwtgq/sidebar_extensions_blocked_after_upgrade/ for a workaround.

Hey, extension author, any plans to update everyone on why it doesn't work, how to get it to work, or fixing the issue to begin with? At this point, just delete the extension and let someone else make a better version with the same name.

@beeters: This addon uses "iframe", so that's why it doesn't work
If you don't know what "iframe" is, it is used to add a website on a website, but some websites (like translate.google.com) blocked itself from being used on an iframe -

@angelo2008: (I'm no developer of this addon, but I just told you (and everyone else) why this addon is not working)

There is another way of having Google Translate on the sidebar (without installing another addon)
- Type: opera://flags on the address bar
- Search "Custom user sites for browser sidebar" (no quotes)
- At the "Custom user sites for browser sidebar", click the dropdown and click "enable"
- Click "Relaunch"
- Open "sidebar setup" on the sidebar
- Scroll down and find "Custom site panels", click add
- Type https://translate.google.com"
- Your Welcome
