      Hi there,

I am an Opera user since a decade and can't live without its' inbuilt mail feature. I have my own mail server setup and I use the IMAP protocol to send/receive mails via opera. Recently I've moved to Zoho mail to manage my emails and I successfully migrated the Inbox there. The problem is it didn't backed up my sent or any other folders except only the Inbox directory on the imap server. I have thousands of sent mails which I want to be migrated. The thing is Opera might not push the sent mails back to the server so it's not there. How can I did this job?

I am using opera 12.16 and don't want to upgrade to the latest because i don't like the approach to use chromium by dropping the independent opera engine. If people want to use chromium let them use chrome and create the existing engine more better and bug free instead of using some other's thing. That's my opinion anyway.

      Thanks for the software.
      Keep growing.

Are your sent folder correctly setup on the account's imap properties?

Hmm, i guess you can drag your messages into the imap's sent folder. Do it in little pieces to avoid Opera freezing.

In my inbox there are some folders I saw like INBOX, INBOX.SENT, INBOX.DRAFT, INBOX.TRASH etc. You mean this? If yes, then How to connect them with opera accordingly.

          Well, see this pic.

Only INBOX folder is subscribed. Should I subscribe them all and Opera will sync them from now on? I mean it will sync the sent option in opera with the server's INBOX.sent folder respectively? Also if I do so will it delete all the existing mails?

          Regards.

Use the standalone mail client and just copy your mail folder. I am sure that you can live without a built-in mail client.

                I mean Mail Accounts > <select account> > Edit > Imap

Are all the fields correctly filled?

You need to subscribe or Opera will not be able to see your sent folder and, consequently, will not be able to sync it.

                  Hello Leo,

Yes!! That fixed the issue. I did something like this

But Isn't there any Draft field to sync drafts with the server?

                  Thanks a way too much!

Nope, Opera doesn't sync drafts (yet?).
