Retain tabs from previous session

Upon opening the browser on android is it possible that the browser shows me last page that I visited rather than a blank page?

Yes! I guess have the same issue! Everytime I launch Opera or even I've turned off my screen for two seconds, the tab I left off is reloading by default! The result is losing any info I've shared - pics or text I've put.
That's ridiculous!
Any chance someone here know how to bring back the previous settings?

There is a setting for it, just choose a different option.

@leocg, OK, fine. I'm using Opera since there was no Android as an OS, like 16 yrs ago and didn't have that problem. Could you please be helpful or should I quit the forum?

@leocg @geoge I apologise for my inactivity. All this time I have been referring to Opera GX: Gaming Browser for phone, not for other Opera (Opera Browser: Fast & Private). I feel I made a misunderstanding. My apologies if I created this topic in the wrong place.

@leocg I realised what was causing me the problem. I used to have an Opera GX widget on home screen. It does not remember the last open tab from previous session when it's opened from the widget. Same goes for standard Opera app. It cannot be open via widget shortcut. The app has to be run from the normal app shortcut in order to retain the last open tab. Hope that helps somebody. If everybody agrees the forum can get locked. I thank everybody for your help. Best regards!
