I would gladly give a donation if Opera 12 would be continued with updates when needed.

I'm sure a lot of us would, but it's not going to happen I'm afraid!
It would take a massive number of paying customers to make it worth Opera's while to carry on with Presto support for any length of time. As soon as they consider the new browser to be "there" they will declare Opera 12 and below unsupported.
Just hope, as a lot of us are doing, that at least some more of Opera 12's facilities make their way into the new version.
