Open tabs are not automatically refreshing after the start up

Dear all,
after the latest Opera's update, all tabs are not automatically refreshed after I start Opera. I have to manually click on every single tab in order to get it refreshed (and I have to do it because otherwise I don't even see what tab it is - it show just empty globe icon before it gets refreshed).
In Menu, I unchecked battery saving and also a setting which allows inactive tabs to fall asleep. In addition I made a clean install including deleting all remaining folders on drive C:/.
BTW I found out how stupid Opera's Sync is - I see all my tabs in my account But they don't move to newly installed Opera (so I had to recover it manually)...
Anyway, I already tried to reach out to Opera's customer service (BS-31297) 11 days ago however noone has replied yet...
Could anyone please help me with this issue?
Many thanks & stay safe, Vaclav.

@leocg You are right, I missed that in e-mail because I expected an answer. Anyway, please, is there any workaround to solve this issue? See attached picture how it always look like after the start up - then I have to click on each and every tab to get it refreshed...

I was having the same issue and then I came to know about the Tab Auto Refresh. It's an Opera addon that helps you automatically reload tabs of your choice. In order to operate with this addon, please open the toolbar popup UI while you are visiting a website. Adjust the time interval in seconds (i.e. 60 sec) and you are all set. Hope it will help you.

@leocg Thank you - unfortunately this was disabled but it doesn't work anyway. It really seems to be a bug in new version because previous versions were working fine.

@owentheodore Thank you very much - I tried and it can be a nice short term solution because it has to be done for every single tab (out of 67) manually. But from long term perspective, I hope Opera staff will solve this bug in next update.

@leocg Thank you for testing this out. I tried another things like disable antivirus / firewall but still cannot fix it. Do you have Windows 10 or 11? I am already on Windows 11 so maybe it has something to do with this.

@leocg Thank you however you need to open more tabs and also wait for a while to see the issue - if I close and open Opera immediately, icons remain and all seems to be good but it is not acually loading. However I managed to find some older Opera Portable (81.xx) where was option "Delay loading of backgrond tabs" and if I unclick it, It Works Like A Charm With that said, issue Really Is in Opera 85+ (since that update). Is there any way how you can - as a moderator - inform developers abou this issue?

Thats how it should look like anytime you start Opera Tabs should automatically load immediately (as seen here in version 81.xx)

@leocg I would say 10 or more and you should see them loading as visible on picture above. Meanwhile I tested also the latest portable version of Opera 85.xx and again it doesn't work so it really is fail of latest Opera because Opera 81.xx and older works perfectly.

@leocg Thank you however I truly believe we don't understand each other because today I tested Opera on complety different computer with Windows 10 and with Opera 32bit 85.xx (I have Windows 11, Opera 64bit, 86.xx) and exactly the same issue appears - if I start Opera, all tabs are delayed and they only refresh once I click on them.

@leocg In previous versions, all tabs were refreshing right after the start of Opera automatically and then when you click on any of these tabs, they were already up-to-date. See below how it looked 0,5s after the start (this shot is from version 81.xx):
This was happening because I had unchecked the following option "Delay loading of background tabs":
Unfortunately this option disappeared and tabs stopped loading automatically after the start. They only refresh once I click on them - one by one.And second issue is that after a while (day or two), tabs start to appear as seen below which means that I cannot even recognize what was there and I need to again refresh one by one:
Otherwise all tabs work perfectly without delays or any other problems whatsoever.
The points is - give us back the option "Delay loading of background tabs" and all is solved

@leocg If something is not working, it can be fixed, right? I am sure I am not the only one to complain so hopefully you will change it.
Regarding other browsers, I don't know it (and I am not even interested to know) because I've been loyal to Opera for over a decade.
