Am I correct in assuming that the permanent Google search box on the home page (Speed Dial for me) is the price we pay for Opera being built on the Chromium source code? If so, Sayonara, Opera

I made a post about being able to set custom default search engines as well, Brave Search for example. Hopefully they fix that too.

@7syntax-error So I hid the home page search box. Out of sight, out of mind... Thank you
However it would be nice to have a DuckDuckGo search box on the page, even if the location line provides that function.
