Can't set Google as default search engine

Opera Customer service replied to me through the Play Store:
Go to settings > search > Default search engine > select your desired.
However, there is no Google in the list for setting.

Is it related to the place of residence? I live in China. This problem has existed for many years, which is the reason that prevents me from setting Opera as my default browser.

Is there any way to set Google as default search engine?

@linode Yes, the list of pre-defined search engines depends on the region where the user is.

Why such restrictions? Opera is the only browser that does this.
