@rulox Go to the search engine page, right click on the search field and then click on create search.

@leocg It seems that the create search option does not come up when I right-click the field. What search engine page are you talking about?

@burnout426 Dang, that is a really nice way to do it quickly, but it still won't let me set it to default. I have to tell it to use Brave manually, which is not what I want.

@spooklad No, unfortunately Opera will only allow built-in search engines to be set as default. Originally it was to prevent malware from adding a malicious site as search engine and making that default, but one suspects they could have found another way by now.
