@leocg Yes, normal browser downloads. The amount of data used is not increasing, I don't know why.

Hello. In the previous thread, I did not fully explain what I mean and I have the impression that I was not fully understood.
I'll try to explain it another way.I want to download a file from the website in the browser, but I do not want the owner to know my IP, because it is my brother and his personal files.
Here is my question: If I run Opera VPN and then download this file, will my IP address be hidden during the download and my brother won't be able to know it's me?

@damian491212 If it's a regular download from a site, using HTTP or HTTPS protocol, then the site should see only the VPN IP address and not the real one.
Now, if also want the download to be hidden locally, then you need to use a private window to access the page and download the files.
