@asianpotato What happens if you select light mode in WhatsApp web settings?

@leocg When whatsapp is already greyed out, it does nothing.
So far the only solution is to revert to light mode in the easy setup settings and refresh whatsapp. It then reverts to light mode. Then, I would change back to dark mode -

@asianpotato What do you mean by greyed out? What if you open it in a tab?

@leocg By greyed out, I mean the first screenshot I took. Opening in a new tab works fine it isn't effected by the theme

@asianpotato There shouldn't be any difference between the page on the sidebar and the one in a tab.

@asianpotato Seems to be working fine here. Disabling Force Dark Page in a tab also do the same for the page in the sidebar.

im having the exact same problem with twitter on the sidebar (and whatsapp aswell but i dont use it), ive had it for several days now, i also tried to exclude twitter.com from force dark page but still doesnt fix it. the only solution that worked was what @asianpotato said:
revert back to light mode
refresh whatsapp
change back to dark modealthough only temporarily

@leocg I've made an exception for whatsapp web on the website tab, but it didn't do anything to the sidebar. It's still greyed out.

@asianpotato Are you using any extensions? The same problem happens on a clean profile?

@leocg I use dark reader but I've tried disabling, and then uninstalling to no avail
