Setting Opera As Chrome

I continue to get the header when I go to the Etrade login page::

"Please upgrade your browser
E*TRADE uses features that may not be supported by your current browser and might not work as intended."

I have tried extensions that set Opera as Chrome, but continue to get this notice. i have also tried setting the "Inspect Element" right click, and can set Opera as Chrome, and it works, however, soon as I close the Element view, Opera does not save the setting. Is there a way to set the changed setting in the Inspect Element bos so it will stay the way??

Goto the URL opera://flags/#freeze-user-agent, turn on the flag and restart Opera.

If that doesn't work, try https://www.reddit.com/r/operabrowser/wiki/opera/extensions/mask_as_chrome if you want.

As an alternative, you could start Opera this way for example:

"C:\Program Files\Opera\launcher.exe" "--user-agent=Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/91.0.4472.124 Safari/537.36"

(by modifying Opera's shortcut).
