Unable to Sync Stored Passwords with Old Password

Windows Version: Windows 10
Opera Version: Opera 75.0.3969.218
I have disabled my antivirus, and my Opera is freshly installed.
Page: Advanced Sync Settings (Opera:// page)
Screenshot:
Here's what's written on the screenshot:
This page monitors which types of data will be synced. The orange switch controls passwords. Under it labels "Unable to sync password. Your saved passwords are encrypted with modified Opera account passphrase. If you know your old Opera passphrase, please enter that now. Otherwise, you can reset your saved passwords."
The field is where I should enter my old passphrase. The two buttons at right read "Use Old Passphrase" and "Reset Saved Passwords..."Description:
- Expected behavior: After I enter my old passphrase and click "Use Old Passphrase", the two buttons should be disabled, switch should turn blue as Opera syncs my passwords stored on cloud.
- Actual behavior: After submitting my old passphrase, the two buttons are disabled, and nothing else happens. As can be seen in the screenshot, the Console gives the following error as I clicked "Use Old Passphrase":
lazy_load.js:4790 Uncaught TypeError: this.browserProxy_.setSyncEncryption is not a function at HTMLElement.useOldPassword_ (lazy_load.js:4790) at HTMLElement.handler (polymer_bundled.min.js:1) useOldPassword_ @ lazy_load.js:4790 handler @ polymer_bundled.min.js:1

@cynthia7979 Did you change your Opera account password recently?

@leocg Yes I did, but I now remember both of them. The issue persists even after I enter the correct old password.

@cynthia7979 Nope. Try logging out from all devices/installations and logging in again.
