Screen seems frozen after screen sleep

When my PC blanks its screen after 20 mins or whatever the setting is (the PC doesn't sleep, it just blanks the screen/turns the monitor off), when I awaken the PC, the last tab in opera is frozen, you can't scroll, refresh etc. To get the tab to operate normally I have to select another tab, then go back to the frozen one and all is well.
However, the frozen tab still seems to be operating in the background in the frozen state. If I, for example, go back a page using mouse gestures, then do the tab swap thing as described above, when I go back to the frozen tab it is displaying the page I was going back to, not the page it was on when it froze. So, Opera is still operating, it just isn't updating the tab that was selected when the comp turned the monitor off.
PC has an AMD Ryzen 2400GE and integrated graphics, no graphics card, all drivers are installed and up to date. This only happens on Opera, no other browser or any other app.
Note, I tried submitting this as a bug report but Opera requires you to add images, there are no useful images to show the problem, so posting here instead.

Offtopic, but I did create just a white image with black text "nothing to see here" on it - to report bug about displaying blank white screen at Opera startup

@donq Yes, did toy with the idea of adding a pic of my dog, but thought I might get a better result posting here anyway.

@ledsalesoz I have the exact same problem on one of my laptops; after sleep state, whatever site Opera happens to show in the front tab, is frozen up. In my case it's remedied by tabbing it to background once and then back, meaning it's probably an oversight by the team somewhere.
The base is an old Lenovo X230 with internal (Intel) graphics as you, i5, 16gb and a 970 Evo SSD. However, this only happens with the regular version, GX never does this (as far as I know) - and so far only my old X230 out of 3 laptops and 2 workstations freezes the front tab, in the end leading me to think that this might be a horrible combo of culprits to untangle for the Opera team but then again, it might not - a slap on the forehead of someone might do?

Do you by any chance use the uBlock Origin extension ?
I have experienced this same problem for a few weeks, and have been watching this forum to see if anyone finds a fix.
Due to an entirely unrelated problem a couple of days ago which I was able to pin down to uBlock Origin, I removed and then reinstalled the extension. That seemed to fix not only the new problem, but also the issue of the screen freezing after sleep.

Dc, yes, I do, have tried uninstalling and reinstalling, and next time the screen blanks I will see if the issue is fixed and report back.
