Why does Opera for Android insist on automatically creating
an account?? I have enough accounts!
Bad thing is I'm unable to remove the account if I have Opera installed.James

@jamesjoey123 Opera for Android doesn't do that. You probably are creating new accounts instead of logging in with an existent one.

When I go into Settings, Accounts there is an account called: com.opera.browser.
The account is there when Opera is installed on my tablet
I uninstalled Opera and the account is gone.
But yet Opera doesn't do that??
Then who does? -

@jamesjoey123 Ah, that kind of account. No idea why it is created, probably Opera needs it for something.

@jamesjoey123 Apparently, it's not something new: https://www.reddit.com/r/operabrowser/comments/di9srl/after_installing_opera_for_android_an_opera/

I didn't see any explanation as to why Opera needs this.
If I don't know why this account is there I'll just use another browser. -

@jamesjoey123 As said in the Reddit topic, most probably it's because of sync.
