Why aren't some great features from Opera 2012 available in 75.0 ?

I was looking at Vivaldi the other day - impressed except importing Opera passwords doesn't work! - really like the ability to stack tabs, the tile tabs ability and notes that work!
Tried to search for a Chrome or Opera extension for stacking tabs and tiling tabs (nothing so far) - but came across this article

from 2012!
What did I find?

1. Follower tabs
2. Cascade and tile tabs
3. Stack tabs
4. Built in Session Management (yes, there is V7 sessions extension)

Why on earth aren't these great features in Opera in 2020?

@mike36 Maybe because there isn't enough demand for it?
Maybe because those features never really helped increasing Opera's market share?
And all other reasons already given in the several other topics about it.

Session Managemen I miss the most. I hope one day it will return to to our belowed Opera!
