@neo7 said in Password List Gone!:
Hi,
Opera for windows crashed yesterday. All current Tabs were lost on the restore but history was still in tack.
I thought nothing of it but I've since noticed that my password auto fill's are not working and when I go to opera://settings/passwords the whole list is blank!!
New passwords are also not being added the Passwords List when I add them manually on web pages.?Can someone help me recover my passwords list and Autofill capability (which is enabled) too?
Many thanks. Neo
this was happened also to me last year now I also store passwords and user's names Online in google spreadsheet so if there is any issue that would present then that I must have a spreadsheet Online in my Primary GDrive.

@neo7 Those instructions: https://forums.opera.com/topic/43601/instructions-on-posting-about-problems-in-opera-for-windows/1
The file is on Opera's profile directory. Go to opera://about for the path.

Hi Guy,
Sorry for the late reply but I've been without Opera for many hours.
I tried to follow the instuctions provided but Opera kept crashing over and over again (every 10 seconds)! So after trying a reinstall (which did nothing) I uninstalled and clicked the option removed all user data.
Then I did a deep scan for a virus and found one (with stadard Windows security, which did not provide any Virus information).
Then I installed Opera again and it was good to see it was stable again.
Loged back in and it was great to see all my bookmarks (still there) and my passwords list was back. All I lost where my extensions, Speeddials and sidebar setting. I have no idea if the virus was the cause of the problem but I did notice that "Control Panel Items\Programs and Features" showed all three browsers I have on my PC with all the same "Installed On" date 4/17/21 (which is not possibe).
Anyway good to be back .... hope this does not happen to you. -

Opera seems to be running smoother than before ... so maybe the occasional dump and reinstall is a good thing.
