I'm having this exact issue as well although I'm not on OperaGX, I'm on a normal Opera installation (Version: 74.0.3911.232)

Same as with the other post if I disable Hardware rendering the issues seems to be fixed so it might be a GPU-related problem

I have a Radeon RX580 GPU and a Ryzen 5 2600 CPU.

I'm having the same issue here. Only happens when hardware acceleration is enabled, nonetheless very annoying, since some websites only function properly with hardware acceleration enabled.
In some cases, the mouse lags as well when hovering over links in websites.

Has there been any progress on this bug so far?
it would be awesome to have this fixed, I'm still experiencing this issue on Opera Version: 77.0.4054.90
I haven't written this above but I'm on Windows 10 20H2 in case knowing the OS is important.
Please tell me if there's anything else I can do to help tracing down this issue
