The adblocker is not working topic (Opera for Android)

As the topic say the Opera adblocker is a joke. It blocks very little or not at all as you will see in the screenshots, while Brave & Vivaldi does block. The adblocker on Opera should be updated as it once was!

The Adblocker always detected by Block adblock script, i recomended implementation of DoH on Mobile Apps too, just like Chrome, thanks.

@ahmetulusoy no, we cant... Chrome DoH maybe can block, just go to settings >> Privacy & Security >> Use Secure DNS >> add this DNS in choose another provider
https://dns-family.adguard.com/dns-query
Add this link OK

@ahmetulusoy Or try Vivaldi they have more filters for adblock and moreover filters for dialog cookies that really work.

@maryhotzu I love vivaldi android but had some issues with desktop version, sync feature is important for me so I have to use same browser on all my devices because of that I use brave instead of vivaldi. Thanks for suggestion.

Opera can't seem to find a way to fix their ad blocking for their mobile version. Their ad blocking sometimes works, and most of the time doesn't. Pop-ups and those that force to open an external app are freaking annoying and I don't understand why Opera can't block those. If your built-in ad blocker doesn't work properly please give us the option of adding an adblocking extension like Adguard. I truly hope that Opera can fix this and I hope they're trying.

@dwelling67 Bro sometimes it's dueto your advert blocking preferences and or if the advert is presumed by opera to be okay or necessary base on your advert interest( via advert id on google) or a kind of mandatory one for tge page else a sticky advert. But for opera advert blocker it's working perfectly normal, not aggressive. i have sofar block over 20,000 advert in lessthan four months with 1 to 2 hours of daily internet surfing.
