      This will be my 3rd attempt to get a reply from Opera. The following is what preceded today's attempt.

      "Apparently, I lodged my inquiry/complaint with the wrong Opera. They have referred me to you for resolution of my problem. First, I am enclosing some information from their message to me that may be of value to you.

      Now, then, my problem is that I have lost my Start page (Home page). It was a beautiful page, one that took me a great deal of time to assemble, and I want it back. Can you help me?

      PS: I might add that this is the 2nd time Opera has failed me,, the first time being when you lost all of my Bookmarks, Bookmarks that had taken me years to gather. "

          I just got a reply to my 3rd or 4th attempt to get some help from Opera with the problems I've been having. That's progress. There is someone there. Anyway, although their response is only a start, I did finally get their attention, and I'm grateful for that. Thank you, Opera for doing what you should have done the first time I asked.
