Using Oneplus6T with PIE and I can confirm Opera wont Autofill Lastpass either. Also a dealbreaker on Android for me too sadly.

This is Stoopid. Now I have to use a different browser on my phone? hhmmpphhh!!!! I hate most of them. Will have to "google" for a different one until Opera gets their stuff together. Darn it, almost ready to change it on all my other devices too just for the heck of it. Opera hey, get it together. I will not give up my lastpass. But will reluctantly give up my favorite browser on my phone....maybe elsewhere. I like seeing the same thing across devices. Everybody stay safe.

Sad. I liked Opera. But of it won't work with my password manager, we'll have to adopt another browser. Since security is so important, and Lastpass is the largest password security company, what are they thinking? Maybe they're thinking they no longer want to support the mobile browser?

December 2020, still no fix. Is Opera working on it or should we start looking for another browser.

@panicpug Not my case... When you focus in a password field, the Bitwarden popup will appear, but instead of guessing the URL you are browsing, it will say something like "There are no elements in your vault for com.opera.browser" (this might not be literal, bc it is a translation from other language). It's like the channel that is supposed to send the URL info to the Password Manager is broken and instead Bitwarden try to fill the data for the app itself (like if it were Spotify or Netflix app, and not a browser itself).
I hope they fix it soon, Opera Desktop is my favourite browser by far, but I need integration between my phone and my desktop browser and the Password Manager is a must.

Still waiting for a fix for this. I'm not using Opera GX on Android because of this issue.
It's quite mandatory to use a password manager nowadays. You simply can't use 2-3 passwords for everything, but a unique, long and difficult password for each site/service. And that's delivered by a pasword manager like Lastpass. So, a better integration is needed.

Just a reply on that, for some reason Opera Crypto works with LastPass, but default Opera is not working.

There is this hack for Opera browser, if you put the cursor in the field you need to fill, open the notifications panel and then close it, then the Autofill Service gets called.

@zerxxI'm using bitwarden now and I've had a much better experience. Also, it's free, unlike last LastPass

As of my last knowledge update in September 2021, Opera for Android did not natively support LastPass integration, and users couldn't use the LastPass extension directly within the Opera browser on Android. However, you had a few alternatives to access your LastPass passwords while using Opera for Android:
Use the LastPass App: You could install the LastPass Password Manager app from the Google Play Store on your Android device. The LastPass app allows you to store and access your passwords, and it integrates with other apps, including web browsers. While browsing in Opera, you could switch to the LastPass app when you need to autofill login credentials.
LastPass Accessibility Features: Some password manager apps, including LastPass, offer Android accessibility features that allow you to use their services to autofill passwords and form data in apps and browsers. You might need to enable accessibility services for LastPass in your device's settings.
Switch to a Browser with Built-In Password Manager: Alternatively, you could consider using a web browser that has a built-in password manager or better integration with password managers. As of my last update, Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox had robust support for password managers like LastPass on Android.
Please note that software capabilities and integrations may change over time, so I recommend checking the latest updates from both Opera and LastPass in the Google Play Store or their official websites for any changes or new features related to LastPass integration on Opera for Android.

@fedavid Since it's been over 4 years and neither Opera or Lastpass moved to fix this simple integration issue, it's not going to happen. Opera only had one "must have" feature for me, and that was it's good reader mode that will cause a reflow of most text so I don't have to scroll back and forth. And other browsers have improved so that's not an issue. LastPass was also a disappontment, so I have bailed on both Opera and Lastpass, using Firefox and BitWarden. Much better all around.
