Windows 10 ad suddenly becomes my wallpaper

An awful "Get it on Windows 10" ad now appears every time I open a newspaper's website. It used to happen occasionally and I could get rid by closing the site, clearing my browsing data, then opening it up again but that no longer works. It is now there all the time. The wide margins either side of what I am viewing should be clear but the ad fills them and there is an ad between the news section tabs and the headline underneath them which should not be there, so that the headline is moved up and is readable immediately below the tabs.
I don't know how I can show a picture of what it is like but I hope someone has a solution as to how I can stop it appearing.
If anyone knows how I can show an example of what I am seeing them please let me know. -
