joe2009 last edited by leocgHallo The first line of the ABDDL has an x at the rightmost position
If I click on it, the x disappears but the entry is still here.
How to get rid of this (and all other lines) starting with the same letters?-> I have the german Version of opera.

A Former User last edited byThis sounds like a bug. As a workaround, you could try looking for these entries in History and delete them from there (or delete all History Ctrl+Shift+Del). You could also try updating to the latest version (70 just came out) and/or delete cache (again Ctrl+Shift+Del, delete everything except passwords, Time range: All time). If all the above doesn't resolve it, try the following: -
Disable add-ons
-
Reinstall Opera

 I deleted all of history.
I installed the latest version of opera. My one and only extension is the ad-blocker.
 I cleared the cache.
1 if I type a few chars of gmx. then ..
2 a dropdown menu appears eith a lot of unwanted, deleteable addresses starting with gmx.
3 at the right side an x appears
i4 f I click on it it disappears,
but the next time startig with 1 .... all entries appear again.
It seems, deleting entries with the mouse actions has no effect. I think the only possibility is to delete the dataset where the entries are stored. But I don't know what datset it is.
