Disable auto zoom
I get automatic zoom when I click on a type field, among others. Can't disable or control this problem

I don't get any zooming when I tap a text field on sites l use, so the issue is website, device or Opera version specific. To get meaningfull help you need to give those details.

Best to mention that it happens mostly when opening a PC version site, or any site that contains typing fields and the field is far/small.

Opera 59 has an unfixed bug.There's no Home button Assist function, present on previous Operas

Tested now: Still occurs
It's not a bug. It's a (dumb) design
I'm requesting a way to disable a dumb feature here

Maybe it has always helped you and it got unnoticed
Let me show:
1-Open my sample page
https://duckduckgo.com/2- In the 3 dot button, switch to "Computer site" (that may vary between languages)
3- Zoom out (pinch out)
4- Tap the typing field.
In mine, it always zooms in.
