There's a setting that deletes all cookies when closing the browser and my suggestion is to have this setting too for history.

@clusternite
i think that they do n't check user's Suggestions. i requested CTRL+SHIFT & Remove All Shown Results support for history page from very older versions but i did n't see anything. they only change icons or Enable/Disable flags and ... . -

@viewer2012 They check users suggestions and take them into consideration but, of course, they will not implement every single thing people asks for.

@leocg it's not single thing. please try your self.
for example, you want clear "google.com" from history page results. it's easy for Chrome and Edge and another chromium browsers. you can use "forget about this site" for firefox (i don't like firefox for History page design and keyboard shortcut manager).
but try it for opera: NO Shift/CRTL support, NO CTRL+A support, NO Remove all shown results. you must delete results one by one.i need to delete some results in history to find another thing sometimes. i need to delete some downloaded and keep another in Download page. but it's nightmare to use opera for this.

I found another old request for "forget about this site" feature. may Opera add this to "Privacy Protection" button or Right click menu?
https://forums.opera.com/topic/25405/improved-history-forget-a-website-with-with-one-click
there are extensions like this but it will be better that browser supports it itself:
Please make Opera easy to use not make it as desktop app for instagram and twitter and .... .
