@olbe31: No sry,
changing that would change a lot of code

No longer possible to open V7 extensions with keyboard shortcuts directly, even with #sidebar-extensions-in-browser-sidebar set to Disabled.
You must have sidebar open for keyboard shortcut to work.
So it’s a two-stage shortcut, instead of one from no sidebar to V7 open.WIN10-64 Opera 68.0.3618.46 Norwegian. HWA on.

The plugin has a dark and light theme, it can be switched manually. Can you add an automatic theme that matches the light/dark theme of the Opera itself?
My proposals for changes in Opera (Google Document).

no sry
extensions are not aware of Opera themes
meaning that, when user choose different theme, there is no event listener that will fire event and notify extension that there is a change and to act accordingly -

@vux777: Are you sure? I'm using Violentmonkey from the Chrome Web Store. The plug has a light and dark theme. It sets automatically depending on what theme I set in Opera. Again, I have the plugin installed in Opera but it comes with:

Yea, you are right
Since chromium 79 there is a way for websites (and extensions) to detect users color mode. It's done with media queries.
I didn't know that
maybe in next version I implement it...who knows -

How To Set Keyboard Shortcut
Anyone know how to do this, and basically what is the default shortcut to start with. I used to open it with ctrl/shift S, but that doesn't work now.

You can set up your chosen shortcuts: opera://settings/keyboardShortcuts
I use Ctrl+S to open sidebar (first) and Ctrl+Shift+S to open V7 Notes.

Ever since I upgraded to Opera Version :69.0.3686.36, drag-and-drop for bookmarks systematically generates error messages. Never had that before. Bookmarking only works the first time around, by remembering to right-click the extension and clicking "new bookmark" or "boomark inside". Can you help? Not sure what I could be doing wrong.

@nadinenbone
yea, you are right
dragging external links to create bookmark creates error
It happens at the moment when extension is trying to fetch bookmark title from internet.
I'll look into it -

In the latest version of Opera (69.0.3686.95), I can no longer reduce the addon's width all the way to the left (bring it as close to the sidebar as possible). It can only increase in size to the right.
the previous solution was to disable the flag opera://flags/#sidebar-extensions-in-browser-sidebar but there is no longer this flag.
Is there a new solution ? -

@titepa This also now means that the V7 Bookmarks option "close app when opening bookmark" no longer works.

Under Opera 70.0.3728.71, bookmark window no longer "disappears" when pressing F11 to go full screen.

@caraboy2001 Opera 70.0.3728.71 does the same thing. ctrl + shift + S often will crash Opera. Unless the sidebar is open, V7 does not respond to the call from the keyboard shortcut.

@vegelund said in V7 Bookmarks:
opera://flags/#sidebar-extensions-in-browser-sidebar
In latest Opera 70.0.3728.71, that flag is no longer available, what now??

@bbildman Two stage move: First Ctrl + S to open sidebar then Ctrl + Shift + S to open V7.
Extension must be pinned to not disappear once you click in main window.

@vegelund cntrl + s is the shortcut for "Save" and thus ctrl + s no longr works for open sidebar.

Change combinations around/remove as you please.
